Printify vs Printful (2026): Plans, Discounts and Break-Even Maths

Product quality, shipping times and print-provider differences are things we do not rate here. Order a sample before you list.
Printify and Printful both connect to Etsy, let you design products with no inventory, and fulfil orders automatically when a customer buys. Both are free to start.

Printify says its discounts apply to the fulfilment price, and its own profit-calculator example (a tee with an $8.77 fulfilment cost sold at $19.99) excludes shipping, taxes and storefront fees. Printful's discount varies by product, so check the catalogue for the items you plan to sell.
Marketplace fees still apply
Whichever supplier you choose, Etsy's fees come out of what the buyer pays. For a $19.99 US sale with a US bank account, Etsy takes about $2.35 in transaction, processing and listing fees before Offsite Ads, per our fee guide. Against an $8.77 fulfilment cost that leaves roughly $8.87 before shipping costs you pay the supplier, and about $5.87 if the order came through a 15% Offsite Ad. How to choose
- Start on the free plans and order one sample of your best-selling product from each. Compare print quality, packaging and delivery time to your target country.
- Compare the same product at both suppliers. Base prices differ by product and print provider, so the "better" supplier can change per item.
- Decide on a paid plan only when your volume justifies it. See Is Printify Premium worth it? for the break-even.

Prices are as listed on the vendor pages on the date above; Printful lists Growth at €24.99, £19.99, AU$39.99 and C$34.99 in other currencies, and local currency pricing can change.
