About MakerMargin

MakerMargin is an independent guide for people who sell handmade, digital or print-on-demand products on Etsy and similar marketplaces. We focus on one thing: the real cost of selling, so you can price with confidence.

Why it exists. Fee pages are spread over many help articles, they differ by country, and they change. Sellers outside the US, including in Israel, often find that the popular advice assumes a US bank account, PayPal and Stripe. We try to answer the questions those sellers actually have.

How the content is produced. Guides are written and maintained with AI assistance and are based on official documentation: marketplace fee pages, seller policies, vendor pricing pages and tax-authority pages. Every guide lists its sources and the date the figures were last checked. We do not invent statistics, testimonials or "tested it myself" claims. Where we have not used a product ourselves, we say so.
