Etsy fee and profit calculator
Work out what you keep from each sale. Enter amounts in your own shop currency (for example USD, GBP or EUR). The calculator uses the fee rates published by Etsy as of 2026-10-23 (source). It runs entirely in your browser.
Buyer sales tax / VAT is not included. Etsy also charges processing fee on tax collected.
Amounts in US dollars (USD).
How the calculator works
- Transaction fee: 6.5% of the item price plus shipping and gift-wrap you charge. For sellers outside the US this also applies to the tax portion included in your price.
- Payment processing: a percentage plus a flat fee that depends on the country of your bank account. See the full table.
- Listing fee: USD 0.20 per listing when it is created or renewed (listings last four months, or until they sell; multi-quantity listings renew on each sale). Because it is charged in dollars, enter its approximate value in your currency. The default 0.20 is correct for a USD shop; when your bank country is detected or chosen, the calculator converts it to your currency automatically (approx., ECB reference rates as of 2026-10-23).
- Offsite Ads: 15% or 12% only on orders attributed to an Etsy-run ad. We apply the percentage to the order total as an approximation, so use the result as an estimate and check your own statements. See Offsite Ads explained.
- Not included: your own income tax, VAT or sales tax obligations, currency-conversion costs, Etsy Ads (the on-platform advertising you pay for), refunds and deposit fees.
